Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using KindredCue, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The love language test is intended for adults using it for personal education and reflection. It is not designed for children, school discipline, employment screening, legal evaluation, clinical assessment, or any high-stakes decision about another person.

You must use KindredCue only where lawful and in a way that respects another person's autonomy, privacy, and safety. You may complete the personal test without involving anyone else. Sharing a partner link is optional. Do not pressure a person to answer, demand access to their device, decode or publish their result without permission, or penalize them for declining the exercise.

  • Personal educational use is the intended purpose.
  • No account, email, or payment is required for the MVP.
  • A partner invitation requires the recipient's voluntary participation.
  • Use for surveillance, coercion, screening, or punishment is prohibited.

Educational limits and no professional relationship

KindredCue is an independent educational self-reflection tool. It is not a diagnostic or clinically validated assessment and does not provide medical, mental-health, therapeutic, legal, financial, or emergency advice. Using the site does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, lawyer-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. The result does not measure attachment style, abuse, compatibility, character, empathy, relationship quality, or the probability that a relationship will last.

Scores summarize answers to 42 original prompts at one point in time. They can change with culture, health, stress, access needs, relationship context, and interpretation. A 0–100 bar is a transformed response average, not a population percentile or accuracy value. Two-item lens scores are directional and should not support fine comparisons. Do not rely on the test as the sole basis for a health, safety, housing, financial, family, sexual, or relationship decision.

  • 42 questions produce seven overall preference signals.
  • Three lenses describe receiving, expressing, and reconnecting contexts.
  • Zero compatibility percentage or outcome prediction is produced.
  • No result overrides consent, boundaries, capacity, or stated experience.

Safety, consent, and partner use

Physical closeness in KindredCue always means wanted, consented-to warmth and never assumed sexual or nonsexual access. A score cannot supply consent. Ask, notice cues, accept no, and allow a person to change their mind. Do not use any dimension to justify unwanted touch, repeated demands, spending, isolation, monitoring, emotional pressure, or ignoring a request for space.

This love language test cannot determine whether a relationship is safe. If discussing a result could lead to fear, retaliation, control, coerced disclosure, or violence, do not use the couple exercise. Consider support from a trusted person or qualified local service appropriate to your situation. KindredCue is not an emergency service and does not monitor responses or partner links for danger.

  • Share only a result that is yours and only when you choose.
  • Do not request or expose another person's item-level answers.
  • Do not present KindredCue as a professional judgment about a partner.
  • Stop the exercise when it creates pressure, fear, control, or retaliation risk.

Acceptable use

You may access the public pages, complete the questionnaire, print your own result, and share a generated partner link for personal noncommercial use. You may link to public pages and quote short portions with clear attribution where law permits. Automated access must respect robots directives, service capacity, intellectual-property rights, security controls, and applicable law.

You may not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malware, bypass rate limits, scrape at a harmful volume, impersonate KindredCue, misrepresent the test as official or clinically validated, sell generated reports as professional assessment, reproduce a substantial part of the question bank, or create a derivative service that copies the distinctive wording, scoring, result structure, or visual identity.

  • Do not attack, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass access controls.
  • Do not copy or republish the complete question bank or result system.
  • Do not use the site to harass, shame, manipulate, or profile another person.
  • Do not make false claims of certification, endorsement, validation, or official status.

Intellectual property and independent status

KindredCue's original question wording, seven-dimension model, explanatory text, interface, graphics, source code presentation, and action-plan content are protected to the extent provided by applicable law. The descriptive phrase “love language test” is used to explain the subject people are seeking; it is not a claim of affiliation. Related terminology may be covered by third-party trademark rights, as public USPTO records show.

KindredCue is not affiliated with or endorsed by any author, publisher, or trademark owner associated with similarly named frameworks. No third-party book cover, author image, official logo, branded quiz question, or official scoring method is used. You retain rights in text you independently write, but you grant no content license merely by selecting answers locally because those responses are not submitted as hosted user content in the MVP.

  • KindredCue is a distinct product identity.
  • The 42 prompts and seven dimensions are original product content.
  • Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
  • Formal legal review is appropriate before commercial advertising or licensing.

Availability, disclaimers, and liability

The site is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KindredCue disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, and any guaranteed relationship outcome. We may correct content, change questions, alter scoring, suspend features, or discontinue the service. A version identifier helps prevent comparing profiles produced by materially different instruments.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KindredCue and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, emotional distress, relationship decisions, or conduct by another person arising from use of or inability to use the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so those limits apply only as far as legally permitted.

  • Availability and feature continuity are not guaranteed.
  • Question wording and scoring may change with a new version.
  • Users remain responsible for decisions, sharing, and device privacy.
  • Nonwaivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Changes, governing terms, and contact

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, security, or operational changes. The effective date will identify the current version. Continued use after an update means acceptance where permitted; when law requires another form of notice or consent, we will use it. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary while the remaining provisions continue.

Questions about these terms, permissions, or a suspected misuse can be sent to lovelanguagetest@gmail.com. Do not include individual answers, intimate relationship narratives, or unnecessary personal information. The FTC notes that online advertising must follow the same truth-in-advertising principles that apply elsewhere; KindredCue likewise aims to make product limitations visible rather than relying on inflated promises.

  • Current effective date: July 23, 2026.
  • Material revisions will update the visible date.
  • Contact is available for terms, permissions, and misuse reports.
  • Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law makes nonwaivable.

Advertising must tell the truth and not mislead consumers.
